Comey is welcome to apply but the purpose of the fund is for lawfare by Dems in the Biden administration, so his claim will likely be dismissed or deprioritized in favor of people who actually suffered damages from actual lawfare.

The Steele Dossier was the foundation of the investigation.

There is not one individual involved in the investigation against Trump, from Hillary Clinton to Obama to Comey to Sztroker Ace, who didn't know that document was an absolute fraud compiled by Russian agents in support of the Clinton Campaign.

The man who produced it would not stand behind it under oath in British Court.

Yet it was presented by Comey and his team as proper evidence securing FISA warrants and launching an illegitimate series of investigations.

The money was part of a settlement between the IRS and Trump, correct? If this is the case, doesn't that mean this money will now be paid directly to Trump? ... and he can do whatever he chooses with those dollars.

Yes, this was part of settlement between Trump and various entities. He sought $10 billion so unwinding the deal could net him up to 5x the fund.

He just (censored) the CNN reporter who asked about the fund. Sad day and she may need a little cushion before sitting down.

And the more liberal that cat gets the more she looks like a man. Dem antiamerican socialists are simply disgusting.

i have not seen it reported anywhere that money would go to Trump, that just seems like wishcasting. Blanche stated yesterday the fund was done but that the audit protections would remain.

The bolded is incorrect. NONE of the money can be paid to Trump or his family with the settlement. He just got the amnesty from IRS audit part of the settlement.

The fund was to pay out to OTHER people harmed by the weaponization of the federal government.

Thought this might be the case, but I don't have a trustworthy source. Curious as to how this impacts the overall settlement. Assuming the money is just now in limbo/escrow.
