I just started paying attention to this guy over the weekend and he's about as bad a candidate as there is. I don't know so much about him that I'd put him up there with Hillary or Kamala, but for who's out there right now, he has no business running.

Janet Mills merely suspended her campaign, and I'd expect once they force Platner to retire from the race in whatever shame he is capable of, she will be the drop in.

Blaming a PAC focused on representing Jewish interests for opposing a hateful Nazi wannabe continues to show the rise of antisemitism in our Country.

David Duke won the Louisiana Primary for Governor in a weak Republican Party in 1991. He was disavowed by Republican leaders at both state and national levels quickly.

The best thing the GOP/Collins camp could be doing right now is absolutely nothing. No one is Maine doesn't know Collins is running for re-election. They know her record.

Run the clock out as much as possible. If somehow Platner stays on the ticket, which I highly doubt, absolutely rub their nose in it in October. Shame the dems in Maine. Collins will win in a low turnout election.

And if the dems take him out, highly likely, hope he goes absolutely off the rails. The spectacle willl be amazing to watch. Maybe he can somehow go third party? Just let it burn.

Brit is actually saying that media political pundits can't predict the future of any political candidate very well, not "comparing Platner to Trump." Brit has a good point there. But of course the headline tries to spin it and insinuate that Brit said Trump was a Nazi, too.
