OP wants Mayberry. Problem with that thinking is, Mayberry is a fictional town. News flash. Politicians never do what they say they will do. Their primary objective after getting elected is to amass wealth and power and of course get re-elected. Why else would anybody spend millions to get a job that pays thousands?
