technically this was not self defense, but defense of his son. the dead thug pointed his gun at the son.
One dad with an Alpha personality on the jury, and this kid doesn't get acquitted. At best a hung jury.
The reality is that a jury of 12 is almost always really a jury of 1 to 3 people that have the strongest opinion on the situation, and 9 to 11 people that will do whatever within reason in order to go home.
Don't point guns at people if you aren't willing to die for whatever you are doing that for. The end.

Ask the jury.
They saw all the evidence and came to the conclusion it was justified.

It should be after what he put the family through and it depends on the circumstances now doesn't it?

That's not how self-defense works. Otherwise, it would be legal to shoot a prisoner (that say raped your wife, etc) in transport? No?
Self-defense is not about if the person deserves that punishment from you.

Reading the comments and I think to myself what a wonderful world. Same group of people that think Ashley Babbitt was a bad shoot. For some reason think some one running away is a good shoot and happy about it. So fatigued I guess. From what exactly?
So lemme get this straight.....Chow has been in THREE shootings and all of em were dismissed and he was the aggressor in ALL OF THEM?!? pic.twitter.com/6kX5UOPA9a

The mainstream media is working overtime to demonize Rick Chow‼️

They can’t stand the fact that he was found innocent in the shooting death of Cyrus Belton.
They want to portray him as a vile racist that killed a black kid for no reason at all.
The reality?

Yesterday Rick Chow was found not guilty in the killing of Cyrus Belton.
As always the media has been working over time to paint Cryus out to be a good boy that “dindu nuffin” wrong.
They’re selectively sharing photos of him to make him look like a… pic.twitter.com/99o9Xnscfq
