Samsung's US headquarters have been based in the state of New Jersey for many years now, but that's about to change.

Samsung opened its new HQs in Englewood Cliffs, NJ last year amidst much fanfare. Now they are closing it, bringing more than 1000 jobs to Plano, TX.
The X post talks about wanting to be close to the billions of dollars they have already poured into their 2mm chip fabs in Taylor, Texas. Of course the real reason is that NJ has one of the highest state taxes in the US, and ranks consistently as the one of the worst states in the US for being unfriendly to do business.
You know you are toast when one of your biggest selling points in 2026 is being close to NYC. So let's give the assist to Mamdani.
The bad news, Plano used to be solidly red - now it leans blue. This won't help but let's take another win for Texas.
