Murder charge against Aaron Spencer dropped

He's the guy who killed his 13 year old daughter's 67 yr old rapist

Quote:

The case against Aaron Spencer was dismissed by a judge on Thursday afternoon after law enforcement lost a dash camera memory card that may have captured the fatal October 2024 shooting of 67-year-old Michael Fosler.

He never should've been charged....

Like I said would happen on the original thread about this. Nobody's going to convict that guy in Lonoke County, much less anywhere in my great state. Good ol' boy in farm country defending his daughter and emptying a clip in the sick ******* who was torturing her. Us folks over here knew what the outcome would be. It's a great day in the Natural State!

A dad should be able to defend his daughter against perverted scum like this dad did. Chalk one up for the good guys.

While I agree that Spencer would never have been convicted, I am worried that "law enforcement" became the judge and jury in this case (if the memory card was lost on purpose). That is not law enforcement's constitutional duty.

Another thread on the topic that talks about the legal issues.

https://texags.com/forums/16/topics/3598345/last#last

The original judge in the case gave the pedo predator a paltry $5,000 bond after he was accused of repeatedly assaulting a 14 year old girl. He was facing 40 serious felonies related to sexual assault of children but she let him out. He immediately violated conditions of bond.

Same judge did everything in her power to make sure the public could not have access to information related to this case, barred the public from most of the proceedings, and sealed most of the records. She was desperate to avoid bad publicity for herself. It was also her decision to not throw out the case back in December when the dash cam "lost" SD card was argued. She eventually got booted from the case and the visiting judge corrected her insane rulings.

Now the question is if the prosecutor's office will try to appeal the dismissal. Good luck with that.

So glad to see this. My blood was boiling reading through the original story. I even donated to his legal fund fundraiser.

Pretty sure he won the GOP nomination in the sheriffs race too, so will be interesting if he gets elected sheriff and is in charge of the guys who "lost" the sd card....

Likely should have been dismissed. It would be better if it weren't being dismissed for sloppy police work.

All I know, which isn't much, is that he won't be able to molest any more kids. So, I'm ok with the results.

I'm no lawyer... But if EVER there were a case for prosecutorial discretion I believe this is absolutely the case. Charges should have never been filed.

Worried? A hero dad who killed a pedophile rapist for grooming, raping, and kidnapping his daughter, and then gets off because some evidence was lost is about 1,000,000th on the list of things I'm worried about.

It is their duty if they are doing what's right.

This isn't up for debate. What happened is justice.

End of story

Expect to see more of it with DAs and judges in left wing cities releasing murderers, rapists, and pedophiles over and over.
