This is clearly an organized attack and I'm surprised the death count isn't higher. I don't know anything about South African politics aside from apartheid 30+ years ago.

I'll be watching this one to see how it all plays out.

I think the decimal is misplaced on the US rate.

Apartheid was not because of racism, it was for safety and security. I'm sure there are things that were inappropriate and wrong, but I would not live there either. It is not a safe place.

Read up on history. The Boers (White africans)built it. The black africans wanted the goodies. At the turn of the century, the population was almost 50/50 depending on what part of the country you were in.

No, it was about race, and it was right. Everything that apartheid supporters said would come to fruition if it's ended has. It's not even safe to be out of the house very often as a white person in SA, and even that's not enough sometimes as you will be raped and murdered inside your own home. Thank God the old government dismantled its nuclear capabilities before turning over power.

The best part about how the narrative is twisted is the idea that the Dutch were invaders on land that the native South African tribes lived and took the land, etc. from them.

Prior to the Dutch arriving, that area of the continent was damn near unpopulated. The "native" South Africans came in after the Boers had developed the area and introduced farming and technology. 2nd generation Boers have more claim to being native to the area than any of the African tribes that occupy the area today do.
