Treat ever weapon as if it were loaded.

Never point a weapon at something you do not intend to shoot.

Keep the weapon on safe until you intend to fire.

Keep your finger straight and off the trigger until you intend to fire.

I remember what the average cop looked like in the 1980's and 90's in Houston and am not at all impressed by what I see rolling around in squad cars nowadays. Also seem to be a disproportionate amount of fat lesbians. Not saying there weren't portly cops back then, but they were much more the exception than today. I also hardly ever see any white officers anymore. Just observations.
