My nephew has done somewhat of a 180 and is now really high on OU for business. Recently did a tour with his mom and came away pretty impressed. They apparently are doing an impressive job of keeping in contact with him.

Do any parents or those in the know have any first hand feedback or opinions?

TIA!!!

If your nephew has good test scores and grades, he can likely get a lot of $$$ from OU to attend.

They offered my granddaughter about $65,000.

As a large state school, they'll be plenty of recruiters to visit when he graduates and OU has a pretty good alum network in this part of the country.

If he wants grad school, his GMAT, GRE or LSAT scores will dictate the grad schools that will be options.

My daughter was an early admit at OU business and it was her fall back until she got into tu business and was not accepted into A&M business because she was not top 10% in one of the most competitive high schools in the state. She starts at tu business in the fall. She was upset because her mom and I are both A&M grads and all she knew was A&M from being a child.

We did the SEC tour of business schools and I would not have hesitated to send her to OU. They gave her about $70k in scholarships to may it on par with Texas in state.

Norman reminded me of A&M of the late 90s. I think there are about 35k students.

She starts tu business in the fall.

We were impressed with OU's business school. Our son just wrapped up his first year at Mays but we gave OU a hard look, even after he was accepted into Mays due to the way they engaged he and our family throughout the process (along with roughly $100K in scholarships). In the end he chose A&M (too much legacy in the family, lol). We would have been more than supportive with OU. Loved Norman. As someone stated, like A&M in the 90s.
