Would need to know his background. I have some contacts, but they are very discipline specific.

I assume he's probably been more on a planning/development role? Ive done mostly ops for over 10yrs.
My current employer doesn't have any openings.

If he is oil and gas, I'd have him find any of the recruiters for SCA on linked in. All of them are top notch and generate their own leads for placement.

Walker Elliott is another good shop. Similar setup, but SCA is slightly more focused on geo stuff. Michael Oliva is another head hunter that works for himself and generally has leads on geo jobs.
