Now if they will fix the fcs schools again. Pass for 310 rush for 140 and score 45 against ND.
Pass for 210 rush for 75 and score 17 against fcs school.

Multiple offenses, multiple dynasty restarts, same offense depth chart. FCS is clearly better than ND

This game is like the first model year of a big update to a car. There were always going to be a lot of warts.

Problem is they fixed it once and then broke it again

Unfortunately that's probably to be expected too with the amount of fixes and updates. Hopefully they're getting everything lined out better for next year.

Anybody still playing? Thinking of starting to play again but a bit hesitant since I'm mainly online play against others and some of the flaws like onside kicks really soured the game

Every time I pick the game back up I throw 4 interceptions in a row, can't stop D2 teams from completing every single pass, and then see our tiny logo on the helmet, and turn it right back off again.

I'm playing offline dynasty on Heisman and am enjoying the challenge. Made some major comebacks in games.

Not sure if it's a real thing or not, but it seems like controlling the game pace is beneficia and momentum is a thing. If I try to press in a game when I go down, it often leads to more interceptions. There is usually a different theme in each game for me and I just have to be patient until I find it. Sometime it's only throwing 5-6 times in a game. Sometimes it's pass heavy.

When I am controlling the game in offense, defense seems easier as well.

I've figured out recruiting and am starting to build up a stout roster.

Game control and momentum are definitely real. This game will absolutely punish you if you force the passing game with a lot of deep shots. I focus on lots of HB base and inside zone runs mixed with RPO bubble screens and mesh concept passes. The only caveat is if they are playing press man D- I always send that WR on a deep fade, if they beat the press it's almost a guaranteed long TD pass

i think cpu over does it on comebacks. I can score over 21 points in the first quarter and end the game with 28.

I feel like that used to be a thing on the older versions too. Maybe not as bad, but I do recall games where I suddenly couldn't do anything on offense or defense and the cpu team would come roaring back in the fourth.

I don't think it's terribly unrealistic. Games have swings. Opponents figure out how to stop what you're doing.

I beat OSU in the championship last night 24-7 on Heisman and got stopped on the 2yd line as time expired.

I don't often go for the kill shot in games, especially on Heisman. I am usually chipping away the whole game. I ran 31 times and threw it 8. Only about 3 of those were real passes. The others were screens or jet sweeps.

If the game calls for it, I will certainly pass.

Run game and time of possession are key because passing is pretty hard on the higher difficulties. I use a lot of Mesh concepts because deep balls outside of Cover 1 and 0 are pretty tough.

Mesh makes me nervous because it requires quick reactions to how the cpu passes off receivers and knowing for sure how the zone defenders are going to play. I'm not great at consistently reading that.

I'm better at levels, in/out routes and comebacks. Comebacks can introduce misreading a CB who is dropping from underneath.

Presnap I usually try to have 1-2 reads picked out. On levels, my first read is the outside corner covering the out route. If it's man, I'm throwing it. If it's zone, it's hard to pull off so I'm working back inside.

This is more or less the best way to do it.

I have more success with stop/comeback routes when I see cover 1 or cover 3. I read the comeback in to the mesh. Trips formations also help - If the OLB helps on the outside WR my slots can usually get pretty open for 4-7 yards.

I almost never throw deep unless it's press man and even then my team doesn't usually have the speed to create enough separation. Cover 2 or Cover 4 on high difficulties all but eliminates deep anything against CPU.

I also use hots on nearly every play based on what coverage I see. I also have found using the back out of the backfield is helpful with mesh or levels concepts as the LB is forced to make a choice.

5 wide all go is usually what I use to hit deep shots. The middle receiver to the trips side will sometimes get left open or he'll be able to separate from the man defender. I audible the outside receiver to the 2 WR side to run a comeback route. That gives me a deep threat, a shallow crosser and a comeback route to choose from. Occasionally in a zone, they'll allow the inside receiver running a go to get open early off the line.

Almost about to give up on this game.

Year 5 of dynasty… vs CPU. Developed a mobile QB who starts 4-0 and is 2nd in Heisman race.

In 2 games he has 9 picks and 4 fumbles. I changed nothing about how I was playing.

When this game decides you're going to lose.. it's over.

You can tell early in the game, at first it was frustrating, now I just embrace the humor and roll with it.

I've found the fcs schools still go all pro the fastest. Like I'll beat #2 42-14 week 1 and week 2 I'll be up 14-3 going into the fourth quarter against fcs
