Believe I'm down to the last main order

Not ready for it to be over. Game is filled with so many amazing moments

I got so focused on trying to expand roads and the dang monorail I kinda forgot about the story….so about to get back on it but could tell I was at the 50% mark more or less…..game literally told me it was the Intermission…..

Kinda want to get all of west Australia hooked up regarding roads, monorail, and zip lines before doing the east fort knot quest to get it online though…..

Question and don't spoil it for me if it's part of the story….theres a prepper I haven't been able to link up yet….hes near a mine kinda in the center on the west part of Australia….not gonna get his name right but it's something along the lines of "the metamalocyte."

I've driven around his area just trying to see if I can find any cargo that will be deliverable to him so I can open that area up but can't seem to find any leading me to believe the game doesn't want me to be able to unlock that yet….

So can I unlock that area and I just need to look harder? Or is there a good reason why I can't unlock that yet?

Also….has anyone used the coffin board yet? I unlocked it not too long ago and am going to try it out soon sounds pretty awesome….

Did discover a thing though….apparently you're not supposed to rest while you have it with you because something happens when you do….no idea what but I plan to try it out anyway….this is based on comments on a YouTube reel video about it

Haven't made a coffin board. I barely use the floating carriers similarly because I don't like that they use chiral crystals lol

I've been meaning to check out the voidout space on the northern side. Not sure what's over there but there's gotta be something

I've only used the coffin board once - it cost a lot of materials and I didn't see the need for it. I always see 1-2 board at the edge of a network. Might have to rest with one to unlock this egg....

I've also noticed a blue road/rail section in a locked NE portion of the map, been meaning to walk over to that to see what is going on.

@Ghost - I use the floating carriers a TON. I haven't noticed a huge dip in chiral crystals. Recommend you getting power gloves, as you can pick up crystal stacks while you're driving the vehicles, you don't have to get out! My crystals are hovering in the 8-9K range consistently

im gonna try it this weekend....according to my PS5 i'm only about 56% done with this game and ive put a bunch of hours in so i'm in no rush to finish just enjoying the experience...

i did learn something else too....at one point when i was working on repairing the mono rail system (first system you encounter in australia)....i saw something in the sky that i assumed was a glitch and it was a monorail train going through the air un-attached to any monorail...since i hadn't finished the rail in that area i was like, "huh...guess that'll make sense once the rail is done."

fast forward about a week or two i'm playing the game and im driving my truck along that same section and all of a sudden the music picks up and the mounted gun on my truck engages and blood gauge comes up....all indicators that there's a threat coming at me....then i hear some really creepy sounding growls so i put the pedal to the floor and start looking around with my camera....and i see way behind me there's some black and red figures moving relatively fast and coming at me (but also pretty far away) and then they all of a sudden blow up and all my threat indicators go away....and i thought, "man that was REALLY weird what the hell was that?"

the two items above are connected....have you experienced them yet?

I had some unique ghost mechs spawn-ambush me on the highway the other day, and I had to get rid of them. I haven't experienced something other than that similar to what you've described. Maybe a bug?

Definitely not a bug I've found a few videos on it but figured instead of posting them let people experience in game….

Basically be on the lookout for a monorail train in the sky usually when it's dark and when you see it…try to get/drive under it

I tried the coffin deal and couldn't get it to work but I've seen videos of it….one was saying you need to be near west fort knot and one other I found said you need to have completed the main game/story….

Also it seems like you need to "rest" and then Sam will nod off and snooze without passing time and that's what triggers it but again I couldn't get it to work but I haven't finished the game….

Also, if you haven't finished the game doing this will trigger another little thing that involves your BB but trust me that's not it….

Just finished tonight. In true Hideo fashion, best to lock in for a 3+ hour finale to a video game.

Really liked how fleshed out the story there. The Higgs escalation & conclusion was awesome and really satisfying. Troy Baker is something else. I too plan on finishing some things up. Still enjoying traversale - I wanna go back to my porter grade. I clicked through that too quickly. I think I had 68/400 LL ratings. Yeesh!

I still haven't tried the Easter Eggs y'all mentioned up there. Gonna check those out this week.

I feel like there is a lot on the fabrication menu that I haven't unlocked still?

Potential DS 3: Louise / Tomorrow ?

The Lou / Tomorrow shocker totally got me. I never expected that. It does seem like they're setting up for that, but Kojima's pipeline seems pretty full for at least the next 5 years, so who knows. Part of the reason I like these games so much though is because of Norman Reedus. Would not be as invested playing as Tomorrow personally

Death Stranding 1 and 2 have great endings and I love how the first game feeds into the second.

I finally beat the first one last week on PC after having it in my library forever. Got excited to move onto the next one and realized is a PS exclusive for now.

I still haven't completed the main story for DS2 but it looks like I'm close….just started episode 10: isolation….

Getting to this point has been awesome and after beating this intend to keep playing it I want to get all folks fully at 5 stars and all that good stuff….

You're close. If you can, try and carve out at LEAST 2 hours for ending gameplay and cutscenes- Hideo Kojimi makes you earn it.

im a seasoned metal gear fan….yall have NO idea

The last "stage" or "chapter" in metal gear solid 4 was literally one level and probably 3 hours of cut scenes afterwards….honestly even if you took your time playing it the cut scenes would last longer than the gameplay….

Surprisingly this game has pretty good balance of cutscenes. Nothing close to what was in MGS4. They give you player control pretty regularly throughout the end game.
