GOTY contender

Excited for this one.

Ever since DKC came out in 94, Donkey Kong has been my favorite game series for Nintendo. It's been too long since we've had an original Donkey Kong game.

Just bought and pre loaded. Looks great

I barely got anywhere in this game tonight because I kept smashing.

So much to smash and explore, really liking it so far

Started the game yesterday.

It took me 10 minutes to get out of the first freaking room. The punching is so fun/addictive, it's hard to stop.

Made it to the first sublevel after the opening title, and thought I was almost done with it, until I realized there was a whole other (and much larger) layer beneath that one.

The worlds are pretty huge, the gameplay is super satisfying, and I'm having a ton of fun so far.

Man, power up your sonar early and collecting becomes almost too easy. Oh is that a fossil across the screen? I'll just punch my way over.

Game's an absolute blast.

Keep going. There's a way faster and more satisfying way than punching!

Haven't spammed the buttons so much since Streetfighter.

I still prefer the punching.

Finished the main storyline today. Kids loved it. Really nice satisfying endgame.
