Is there a specific channel link you can share? I tried searching Discord for TexAgs and I couldn't find anything other than TAMU Esports.

I will see about setting up a BF channel/voice.

Usually people use it for ARPGs and a few other games but figure might as well use it since it has a fair amount of other aggies on it.

So I got an early access beta code by putting a twitch stream on in the background at work.

Servers are currently maxed out... My starting queue position is 62,000.

Lol... Appears to be going fast though. The hype around this game is real.

I will probably try to play some this weekend.

Played some games as an engineer this afternoon. Submachine guns are fine, but I was getting lit up by longer range weapons. All urban maps for me but I know there's at least one that has more wide open play.

Probably try to hop on again tonight.

I got up to level 11 or 12 today. So far I'm enjoying it. The gunplay is pretty good. I was pleasantly surprised with the level of recoil the guns have. The streamers made it seem like they were laser beams but it's not that bad. I got the M4 to max level and have been using that as my main. It's really strong all around. Don't really see any reason to use an AR because the carbines are so good. I haven't spent much time with the sniper yet I'll try that more tomorrow.

Most of my time has been as a medic. I think the defibs are broken because it doesn't seem like you need to charge them, you can just click over and over if there are multiple people down next to each other.

Recon is fun with the c4, spawn beacon, and motion detector. I played one game where I had over 50 assists mostly from the motion detector.

Overall it seems pretty polished. I've had a few small visual bugs but I'm not positive it wasn't a problem on my end. No major issues with hit reg or desync that I've noticed either which is nice.

Played a few hours last night. Mainly just conquest mode. The tanks are crazy powerful but fun. I need to try the other chars more, because I mainly focused on medic because my shooting skills are lacking. I don't see how sniper will be fun because it is so chaotically fast in the cities. So far it is lots of fun though. Looking forward to playing with a real squad instead of just Agdog and me and two randos.

Gonna miss this beta. The hype about this beta reminds me of the Bad Company 2 beta. This one is short in comparison though, that beta lasted 3 months on PS3. It was crazy.

Good fun playing with guys last night. The cross play worked great even in beta form. We had guys on XB, PS, and PC in our squad with no issues.

I do think Discord might be the best way to party up and do voice chat, but their built in system works just fine.

I'll be on this weekend. Need to figure out how to set up Discord on the Series X.

I mostly sat out of BF games the last few years (BF1 and BFV )as I feel that they peaked during BF3: Close Quarters, but this game is pretty damn good.

I'm not that computer literate so I almost broke everything trying to change my Bios settings. I'll have to find a better YouTube video and try again.

Can confirm that loading C4 onto a vehicle to kamikaze a tank is still very effective!

Feels like it's nerfed a little from previous games... Vehicles don't appear to roll as fast or as far once you jump out so it takes more skill/timing. But it's still a quick way to deliver a killing payload to a tank!

This game just makes me miss 1942, 43 and Vietnam so much. Even BC2 and hardline. That's a good thing.

Man this game is fun. Frenetic, high-paced, grounded action. I don't get to game much anymore so I don't plan on buying it right away, but this is what BF is supposed to be.

I love the feedback you get with a hit marker. The damage indicators and the little "click" are so satisfying.

My first "Only in battlefield" moment: I shot a chopper down with my tank.

Conpleted all the open beta challenges except level 20. Looking forward to some bigger maps
