Need to replace my entire home network. One of my Eero 3rd Gen units failed and my Netgear Modem/Router is approaching a decade of service now, so I'm just going to replace everything. Any recommendations?

Covering a large area with four separate buildings (House, garage apartment, shed, barn) spread out over about acre. The Eero did it okay except for the farthest points, but I'm annoyed that it died so probably looking a different direction.

If you are fairly technical, Ubiquiti. If not, pay someone to help you setup Ubiquiti.

My Deco units work great and are far cheaper that ubiquity. I recommend them. Set them up with backhual if you have the cable drops. Set up the units near the corresponding walls/windows that lead to the next location for best performance of the mesh. If you have a very long distance to a particular building, i would set up a point to point wireless bridge with an access point instead of trying to use the mesh unit.

If you have the buildings on the same power breaker network, powerline ethernet is also an option to get the access point set up in the far away locations.
