Came out last week on Steam in Early Access. Currently 10% off at around $26, $36 with the soundtrack (sea shanties!).

Saw enough gameplay and got it yesterday and so far it's fun. A mix between Valheim and Sea of Thieves.

There's solo/offline and co-op PvE, also dedicated servers are available.

Been playing it the last few days. It doesn't do anything terribly innovative...but its pirates! Been having a pretty fun time with it. The combat can be a bit tough though - stamina management plays a big part in combat. I managed to beat the first boss with melee on the 3rd try...which is supposed to be harder than doing it ranged.

The game hard gates you on region/boss completion - no boss kill, no advancement.

Been playing this for about a week now. It's definitely a Valheim feel but Pirates. The graphics are much improved as well. I'm slowly working through the first act.

Just wait until the next zone when you run into wolves that really like to give you an up close and personal hug iykwim

Death is part of the journey. If you're going in to clear out a camp or something pop you up a tent nearby and bind to it so you won't have far to run back.

Also you can cheese a lot of fights just by building some platforms, etc if you want
