Over the past few weeks, I have been consistently getting the "download sync" pop up when on this website. According to AI:
"The "download sync" popup is a known malicious or unwanted Safari browser notification affecting iPhone and Mac users, often appearing on various websites. It typically asks to download files named "sync," "occ," or "doc." Do not download or open these files, as they are malicious, according to discussions on Apple Support Communities and news reports"
If mods see this, please address the advertisers that you are contracted with that their ads are potentially downloading malicious files when visiting TexAgs. It is a pain to have to shut down and clear the safari cache every time I attempt to visit this site.
Secondly for the community, does an ad blocker stop this? Any recommendations on a free blocker? Any additional steps that can be taken when checking this website to avoid malicious software?
