Looking for a left-handed semi-auto shotgun for my son. Anyone have a Benelli M2 or Franchi Affinity in either 20 or 12ga they'd be interested in selling?

There are quite a few .22 Hornet chambered rifles on Guns Iternational. GI is not a bidding type of firearm selling site. Many listed guns are by individuals.
There are two pages of .22 Hornet rifles. Including a couple of Ruger 3's and 1's. Also a couple of classic Model 70's listed as well.

That's fair. I have a friend who did the same thing years ago and he swears by it. I have held several and they seem like they are solid.

Difference here is .380 centerfire vs 22 rimfire. Thats not like going from .380 to 9 or 32acp. It is different engineering. There are dozens if not a hundred designs that reliably shoot .380, 9mm, .40, and 45acp. The same cannot be said for .22 out of a pistol. I can count them on one hand.

That was my thought process on Bersa. Just doesn't seem like a producer that could do it. But I may be wrong.

Not helpful for your post but can't believe it finally happened.

Yeah, I waited too long. For the last 6-8 months, all they have had are either the new manufactured ones or ones built out of reclaimed drill rifles, which I'm not interested in. Of course, there are tens of thousands of Garands and Carbines sitting in Korea waiting to be repatriated, but Obama blocked that and it hasn't been reversed.

I already have one M1 Carbine I picked up here a few years ago, and I just ordered a second one that is imported back in from Europe that I found a good price on.

This would make a great gun for a kid that wants to get started in 4-H shooting. Once you are in the 4-H shooting circles you can sell it pretty easily for what you paid for it if your kid grows out of it and into an Anschutz.
