She did change phone number but her son knows it and gave it to his dad. She made her son remember it for emergencies and he gave it to his dad without thinking about his dad harassing his mom more.

He prays on soft or weaker targets, I have never met him face to face since he avoids me at all cost. There are concerns of him snapping, after he found out about the ruling his work had to call an ambulance since he wasn't responding, was just staring into nothing.

Yep. I'd go one further on the router side though and factory reset it as well and update to the latest firmware. Then create a very strong admin password (not wifi, the management side), a strong WPA2 wifi password, and enable MAC address authentication so you can be certain only the devices you explicitly approve can join the network. And if the router supports WPS I would see if it can be disabled. WPS is the pushbutton on some routers that let you connect without a password if you can physically press the button...

If the current router doesn't allow all that, I'd no doubt just buy another.

It is a good thing to remember that consumer routers are obvious targets for attack. If the attacker can gain control of the router, then he has access to pretty much everything behind it.

There have been a great many vulnerabilities on consumer routers. Not only that, some engineers at consumer router venders have installed backdoor passwords in the past to make it easier for them to deal with routers.

On the router, at the very least, turn off administrative access from the internet. If the router can't even do that, then it is useless.

As for the password, a few years ago I loaned a router to a local business that was moving to a new building so that they could have internet access at both while they moved. I wanted a password that anyone could remember so I gave it "I wish I were an Oscar Meyer weiner". Nobody could ever log into it even after I told them the password. It turned out that I mispelled both "Mayer" and "wiener" and nobody could ever hit the right combination of misspellings.

Homeboy didn't return child a few days ago when he was supposed to and this morning judge sent out an order for him to lose all custody until emergency hearing and put a restraining order on the dad so he can't have any communication with the child or his mother. We know he read the email from the court but has not responded and so far cannot be found.

Fiance is heading over to his house with the police, if the child is not there and he does not respond by 6pm I will post the dad's information as well as his vehicle. Dad has said in the past that nothing would keep him from his time with his son and the judge has hinted that he may lose all visitation

This is why I got out of domestic legal work. Too many nutjobs out there made my hair turn gray and fall out. I now CC but only some of the time. Back then I did all the time. There were some cases where I just open carried a side arm in a holster to/from work. I had their pics at the desk at reception - "if this dude comes in, hit the panic button."

Glad he sorta got what he deserved. I don't understand dudes that can't move on. There are a ton of women out there. Life is too short for this kind of nonsense.

I had a case where the father had 5 drunk driving convictions and the judge wouldn't take away visitation. He FINALLY did when he flipped the car with kids in it.

Guy was already losing his mind before this and is begging to get the child this weekend, talk about flight risk.

As a Christian you hope he can get his life figured out but he has spiraled the past few years and considers himself the victim. Sadly he will likely drink himself to the grave. Since he won't go to rehab the best thing for him would be to spend some time in jail and get sober.

Don't know how attorneys to it, more so since don't most attorneys have to do a certain amount of pro bono work a year? Feel bad for the one in his harassment case since the court assign him.

Crazy how much money one person can cause you. Since the divorce went to jury trial it cost us over $100k (he never paid the 3 attorneys that he hired and ended up representing himself) and now that he has decided to appeal just to respond will cost us another $10-50k. Don't have the money to fight this but will find it someway.

Should be getting a stalking protective order soon and they are shooting for a lifetime no contact for his ex (my wife) and his son.

Pretty certain that a fourth attorney fired him as a client in a year and we found several more people he has harassed including his former boss at USAA. All are afraid for their life to come forward since he has threatened them but always in person so there is not any record of a threat of harm.

This is a message sent to an attorney and this is PC compared to what he sends from fake phone numbers. Police in several counties have said unless threatens death they won't put much effort into anything. Lost a lot of respect for the judicial system through all of this.

Is one of too inside sales people for his company too. Crazy thing to me is during court you could tell he was having major alcohol withdraws by 1-2pm with the sweats and shakes. I assume he drinks at lunch or on the job.

Spoke to a few appellate attorneys and they range from $425 an hour / $10k retainer to $1000+ an hour with $30k retainers. Even though the psycho has no case we still have to pay an attorney to write a brief referencing specific appeals cases where the Texas supreme court ruled against what he said.

Blackfish Intelligence was recommended to us and after working with them I would avoid them at all cost. They oversold their capabilities, would promise one thing and then call us a liar when we asked them about it, and 7 times promised a call back with an update and never did until we reached out. The last time we spoke with them they were yelling at my wife calling her a liar even when she pulled the phone log up proving they never provided updates to us. They also spoke to my wife way differently than they spoke to me, even when we were on the phone together. I understand we all make mistakes but when we brought them up to Blackfish they would say it wasn't their fault and blame us even with evidence showing their lack of communication.

If you need forensic intelligence on someone just look for someone that can run the CLEAR background checks. After working with Blackfish they really can't do anything special and charge more for it.

Damn. I'm really surprised to hear that about Blackfish. They have a great reputation in the industry. I've referred 10-12 people to them the last few years.

They started off awesome but then became non-responsive. It happens but then lying about it over and over didn't leave a good taste in my mouth.

Of course this guy is the gift that keeps giving.

Guadalupe county has a temporary stalking protective order against my wife's ex and the DA is pushing for a lifetime order. We live in Collin county and so far he has broken the protective order twice (once for text from fake number and once for a harassing email to her attorney). Her ex moves from Guadalupe country to Bexar and they start to transfer the protective order but the Bexar country DA says we agree, lifetime protective order and we will take the case. They realize he has only lived in Bexar county for 4 months and said they can't take the case since he hasn't lived there for at least 6 months.

The Guadalupe DA contacts the Collin county DA and Collin county says since he has only broken the protective order twice they don't think it is worth them pursuing a protective order. During this process we find out that her ex moved hundreds of miles away to a place 5 minutes from us even though he has no custody of his son. Collin county says that is more harassment than stalking, if he contacts us a few more times they may decide to do something.

As it stands right now all signs point to Guadalupe country having to drop the case since they don't have jurisdiction any longer and Collin county won't pick it up. Over 100 calls, hundreds of text from fake numbers, dozens of emails from fake emails, and now moving hundreds of miles to be within 5 minutes of us is. We are not 100% certain he has moved either, had one of the PIs on here pull records and there are no records of him moving. But he knows how to work the system being a former LEO. If you go by the law breaking a protective order 2 or more times is a 3rd degree felony and he may walk free with no penalties at all.
