Howdy yall, I wanted to give credit where credit is due for a fellow poster on the OB.

Captain SGrem took my wife and I on a half day fishing trip this week. If you're ever looking for a guide in the Galveston area, I'd highly recommend starting with him.

He was easy to work with and came through for us when our three year old got sick the day before the trip. SGrem moved clients around to make sure we were able to get out while we were on the coast. I'm thankful because we caught a mess of fish- trout, redfish, black drum, sheepshead, a big a$$ sandbar shark among others.

Professional, friendly, a hell of a guide and storyteller. If ever you're looking for a good time catching fish, go with Grem.

I have been trying to get him to Rockport for a weekend and he has been absolutely great in communication and scheduling changes. Glad you guys got on some fish.

Went with Capt Grem on his 26' boat today - 3 adults / 3 kids. Fantastic time. Wind was heavy, but that didn't stop us from having a great time, caught tons of fish, and a team effort was required to get a glimpse of a massive stingray.

We'll be back - Capt Grem is legit worth it - go have some fun!

I went with Grem on Saturday and can echo this report.

We caught a great mix of fish in tough wind conditions.

Got a glimpse of a big stingray that broke off at the boat, caught a shark and a big jack crevalle. Specs, reds, whiting, sheepshead, blackdrum all made it in the boat during our half day trip.

Same - posted some pics above of what we caught and a video of the stingray. It was a great time. I was just wanting a trip where the kids would fall in love with fishing. Accomplished.

Thanks for the kind words crew. Really enjoyed getting to know yall. I was stressed having to put something together for 20-25mph East Winds. Very challenging conditions and yall are warriors for getting out to fish hard with me.. Glad the fish cooperated some for two purdy good days.

Saturdays stingray was about 50-60 or so pounds on the lightweight rods.

Sundays stingray was way over 200 pounds on the big game rods....

Both great battles for the anglers. We were lucky to even see that big joker.....
