Main reason is because parents have been going back and forth to funeral homes all day id'ing bodies looking for there kid(s). With DNA they can at least stop them from having to do that. I couldn't imagine.
Cellular data isn't super reliable during power outages, especially in rural areas.Quote:
Doesn't an Apple Watch with cellular data have the ability to be found?
I don't know who your friend is, but I live in Dallas and can confirm the DNA request. Precaution since they would have been in the water for 2 days now. My friend had to go identify several young girls who were not his daughter; that trauma will live with him forever.DG-Ag said:
From a friend in Dallas - not sure what her source is:
"They found 5 bodies today and are taking the parents dna tomorrow at 7:30 to help them identify. So much better than making parents go to identify the body of their child."

Family has confirmed the Wilsons were found deceased today. They were in their camper together and have assumed their journey into heaven the same way. Continue your prayers for their family and friends. This is not what we all wanted to hear but we now they can rest peacefully
According to the latest (3 hrs ago) news story, there is some confusion about the identities of some of the family members.one safe place said:Yeah, they are friends of ours, particularly my two daughters and their husbands and children. Wife just found out a family from her hometown church community in Liberty County who were staying in an RV camp were victims to the storms. Bodies of husband and son found, wife and other son still missing.
8 year old Daughter was at one of the camps in the area, but not sure which one (edit: it was Camp Longhorn). She was successfully evacuated, only to find out that the rest of her family was missing.
May God have mercy.
I had not heard they found one of the boys, but heard they found the father.
You meant no harm. I checked with my wife (she is involved in everything at the church) and she confirmed the current situation. If there are any developments she and both my daughters will know immediately and I will post them here. The media showed up at the prayer vigil and was taking pictures inside the church during the service until she got told to stop.BadMoonRisin said:According to the latest (3 hrs ago) news story, there is some confusion about the identities of some of the family members.one safe place said:Yeah, they are friends of ours, particularly my two daughters and their husbands and children. I still pray for the safe return and passage for the entire family and feel regret posting this information. I tried to be vague to protect their privacy and identities, but was careless in posting unverified information.

I think I was near you (or another parent of a Wiggle Inn girl) when your little one came out. Ours was also in Wiggle Inn.
Words cannot express the relief as well as the sadness we feel for the families of the missing girls.
agree, I saw one Dolphin and that was it.austinag1997 said:
Appears to be a ground operation unless there are drones up. There are no detectable air assets airborne tonight.

According to my wife, only the father has been found. She and both of my daughters would know almost immediately if there is a change in this and I will post it here. The family is extremely close to my two daughters and their families.Pitch To Johnny said:
This is the family we have been desperately trying to find updates for. We know the father has been found but have seen a couple comments that one of the boys has been found. Is there any way to confirm this?

We just sent him a text as well. We all owe him so much for watching over/guiding the girls through that horrific experience.Badace52 said:
