Anyone else have issues with a 6.5 Grendel magazines reliably feeding into an action? I have 2 6.5's - one in an AR platform with a thermal and the other is a Ruger Ranch which is my daughter's deer rifle. The Ruger doesn't really like cycling ammo out of the mags unless its completely full on the 10 round mag.

I have 4 different mags (3-10 and 1-5) and they all seem to have the same issue. My AR hasn't jammed since adjusted the gas block after running it suppressed, but I haven't shot it a ton either - just a couple of single or double shots at pigs.

It seems like this is a pretty common problem with the Grendel's and a common fix is shaving part of the magazine, but I just wanted to see if anyone else here has experienced the same and if/how they fixed it.

I have three Grendel ARs from Alexander Arms and whatever standard Grendel mags from a couple different manufacturers and I have had zero issues.

I have several C-Products Grendel magazines. They all run fines in my Grendel as well in my 6ARC.

I have 2 Dura-Mags and one that is supposed to be specific to the RAR, and they all hang up after the 3rd or 4th bullet on my bolt action. I've got another mag I need to check the brand of when I get back home. I'm wondering if it's a feeding issue in the action

I use the Amend-2 mags in my 6.5 AR. Zero issues, way easier to load than any of the metal mags I've tried too.

I only have the one that shipped with it from Anderson but in our first trip out it functioned flawlessly. It does seem to only be a 9 shot instead of a 10 shot but that's fine.

I am ordering another off of Midway tomorrow. They are like $22. Made in Israel

Are you running this in a bolt gun or AR? I'm trying to figure out if my bolt gun is the problem and not the mags… it seems like some folks have had issues with the Rugers feeding with magazines but that's just a google search

If too tight to accept ten I have some they i cut a couple of lengths of spring to accept that last shot and they still run fine.
