I have the following, which I'd rather not just throw in the trash. It's free to you if you want it, or if you have suggestions for a pet-friendly DV shelter, pet rescue, etc. who can use it, let me know. I'm in Houston.

- About 20 pounds of Nutro Superfood Plate senior dry dog food
- 8 or 10 packs of Pedigree wet food (cuts in gravy)
- A small amount of Hill's prescription gastroenteric dry food
- 1 can of Hill's prescription gastroenteric wet food
- Two doses of Trifexis for dogs weighing 20-40 pounds
- About half a pouch of calming treats
- New can of joint supplements

I bet pug hearts of Houston would take the donation

If you don't plan on another dog, take it to your vet. They will gladly take it.

My teens are heading up a 4-H donation collection that will benefit our Medina County animal shelters again this year. I would be happy to pick up anything you or anyone else would like to donate. Or I'm sure a local shelter or rescue would be happy to use the items as well. Thanks for sharing.

Grimes County shelter could certainly use it. Kbtx just posted a story that the shelter just had to take a bunch of dogs that were just taken from a Navasota house deemed uninhabitable. They are asking for donations and fosters. We are going to take some food early next week.
