For those that know a lot about campers I need help diagnosing.

Had camper at house all week working fine. Pulled to campground today. Set up, start to test everything, AC doesn't kick on. Microwave doesn't work, electrical outlets don't work. Lights and other stuff do. So battery is working, all the 110v not working.

Campground techs check the shore power, everything working correctly. They test my breakers and fuses in the main electrical panel, all getting power and working correctly. GFCI outlet isn't getting power and won't reset. Converter was showing 12.6v on the multimeter.

They spent two hours testing and trying to fix but couldn't figure it out.

Any ideas what could be the issue?

Does your camper have a transfer switch for generator or shore power?

Check your GFCI

Also double check all breakers, fuses and the pull away fuse. Has to be a simple fix if everything was just working. You at a campground? Check your power input supply.

Might need to replace the GFCI outlet

This is your answer, your inverter (or converter) or transfer switxh has an issue. (It could be shot and you need a new one or the fuses on it are blown)

Your issue sounds more like the transfer switch has an issue because 110 volt equipment. It working. You will need to trouble shoot the issue, you may need to call a tech out

The inverter will / may have a big 40 to 60 amp fuse on it, if it blows out then your house batteries won't be charging most likely. I had this happen to me once before. Called Mobil RV tech and he went straight to the inverter and pulled the big fuse and it was shot, put in a new inverter fuse and boooom, everything is working again. Not sure if this would be your issue since 12 volt system working

This guy calls it the converter- here's a quick video about the converter, if you look on the converter it has fuses,

Also check the legs going into the Main 110 volt breaker box - you may have a loose wire that feeds that box. Not the easiest issue to trouble shoot but a Rv tech would figure this out fairly quickly.

Can you post a picture (or description) of the plug that connects to the campground's power supply?

If it's 4-wire 120/240 volt (rather than 3-wire 120 volt) you may have lost one of the 120 volt 'legs.' That would take out (typically) half the circuits in the camper.

If it is 120/240 volt post back and we can go through some troubleshooting. If not, I won't waste your time on that issue.

EDIT: I re-read and saw that none of the 120 volt circuits are working, so please disregard.

GFCI could be bad but that shouldn't affect the AC. Is this a 50amp unit?

Do you have a surge protector plug in thing to shore power? Are all the lights green?

I'm no help tracking issue down, but as a first time travel trailer owner (new Jayco 19 footer) who is on his 6th weekend trip right now, stuff like this keeps me up at night.
