We're looking at a long weekend quick getaway around/on/near Canyon Lake. VRBO and Airbnb is all over the place. Anyone here have a rental or have a contact? Looking at 9/25-9/28. Just me, the Rib, and my two daughters 9 and 12.

Second Camp Fimfo. 9 and 12 year old would absolutely love it. It is on the river, not the lake. But there are zip lines, alpine coaster, swimming pools, playgounds, etc. They have cabins for rent if you don't have a travel trailer. Very short drive to the lake. And if there is a concert at Whitewater Amphitheater, you can enjoy it for free as the river park is right next to it.

Agree. Kids and get away do fimfo or jellystone cabins. I'm sure you're aware but the lake is still extremely low and only a couple ramps open. Actual access to the water limited. May be able to get in at overlook park or Comal park depending on where you end up staying. I would go for the cabins above if find something on the river on river road.
