My favorite RR movie.

My sister was a paid "extra" in "The Great Waldo Pepper", a Redford movie filmed in central Texas. A lot of college students were paid to ride carnival rides and sit in bleachers, wearing clothes from the 20's and 30's.

I figure there may still be some posters on this forum who had relatives that also participated in the movie.

I read today that his great, great grandfather was the first Sheriff of Hays County.

I try to watch this movie every year just before regular hunting season. Helps me get in the mindset.

John Wayne, Redford and Eastwood were my childhood go-to's for movies.

I still watch their movies anytime I can.
