Yes use the Grey marine antisieze.

DO NOT USE THE COPPER COLOR COPPER BASED ANTISIEZE!!!!

Ok final update - I looked at everything more closely today and I "believe" it's my original lower unit. However it sure looks like something like forks may have hit it. We agreed I would buy the new unit and they would put it on and service that engine at no charge. Not a total win but we agreed and moved forward. I did 300.hour service on the engines and the lower units were serviced as well. Sometimes it's best to come to an agreement and move on. Im ok with it and ready to get out on the water again! Thanks for all your input
