Either its a large boar raccoon or black bear.(AI says bear)

Lots of beatle carapaces in it.

Problem is location, this is just 6 miles SE of Buccee's in Madisonville, closest verified bear sighting is over three counties away.

Well game warden wasn't sure, TPWD Biologist says "big ass raccoon".

No latrine, but, I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, so will go with that.

Raccoons are like any other animal including humans. Somedays taking a larger dump than others depending on diet, water consumption etc.
Size of the dump is not indicative of sex of the animal.
We have a miniature Mini Donkey Jenny that will lay some out that looks like a Budweiser Clysdale was in her stall.
With that being said looks like Raccoon to me.

Just ran it by one former TPWD biologist and one current TPWD biologist, both of whom worked on a coyote scat contents study in the Houston area, and both say it is 100% raccoon.

Wandering tsip. Very common around the Austin area.
