Were heading there when school gets out. Pretty sure Navarre is full though. Best if you ccontinue on to Destin.

Smitty's is supposed to be good. Inshore fishing can be a little slow in that area. Might consider surf unless you just really want to get out on a boat.

I think we might do one of the surf shark afternoons.

Fishing on the pier can be really good and no license needed. I always bring a few rods and slip out on the pier while the kids are still sleeping. Casting for Spanish or I'll vertical jig docs goofy jigs around the pilings to catch random stuff. The shark guys show up at the end of the pier at dark. Interesting to watch. Last time we were there, they had a remote controlled kayak and were running whole blackfin tuna out deep. They catch some crazy stuff, including a few great whites.

We were supposed to go with Captain Wes Rozier two years ago. However, there was a disturbance in the gulf that had the wind blowing like crazy our whole trip. So, he recommended canceling. I appreciated the fact that he didn't take us out in those conditions just to get our money, when he knew the fishing would suck.

He was recommended by a friend of mine who had been with him and had a great time. We were staying in Navarre, but he puts in at Day Break Marina in Pensacola. So not far away.
