The Hopkins County courthouse is even cooler on the inside. Most unique one I've been in.

And don't forget the 360 degree view glass toilet on the square.

I can save you one trip to my hometown.

Just take a picture in front of a cinder block setup to look bigger than it really is. Same thing.

Literally all of the Texas A&M commie brutalist style buildings just got a boner from this gem.

We had a pretty nice one in Bosque County (Meridian) being such a small county.

Swisher County (Tulia) had this courthouse in 1909

But don't despair, in 1962, they "fixed" it

Houston County (Crockett Texas) has burned something like 5 times since the civil war. Not all of those times were accidental. Running mineral title there is problematic for that reason, there are some major gaps that have to be accounted for.

I don't mind the "Modern" courthouses with the square buildings if the historic ones are left alone.

Come on down to Atascosa County and I will treat you some BBQ and a beer.

I have always been a fan of my other hometown's Court House. Bee County:

There should still be an A-4 Skyhawk sitting just to the right. It has been 10 years since I was in Beeville.

It has been at least 10 years since I was in Beeville, and I hope the A-4 Skyhawk is still there. I spent every summer of my childhood there with my grandparents.

If you can find your way to Lipscomb, you probably won't have much trouble finding the Lipscomb County Courthouse.

I've always been partial to my hometown county courthouse (Victoria), where my dad and uncle practiced for many years. My mother also worked there for a short period of time when I was a kid.
