The official post from my trip north to hunt with the Missouri Disabled Sportsmen crew. Another solo drive for me. I stopped over in Dallas both going and coming back because I don't like to be in my truck for 10 hours anymore. (I'll usually get out for at least an hour to eat lunch when I do do that.)

Great group of guys up there and we had 10 hunters I believe. QuikCamo supplied everyone with a cap/mask combo and I brought camo soft-sided coolers for each hunter from Yukon Outfitters. We also had a blind donated by World Famous Sports (The Hut) that has the garage door opening so you can roll in.

Met the star of our show, Hannah, who got her bird on the first morning, and then I tried to steal her thunder but couldn't the rest of the way.

Fantastic hunt as 9 people got birds and only one poor ******* (me) didn't get a shot. Super people and beautiful country made it a special occasion. Hope to be back guys. I have a score to settle now.

point being, and i've said this for years, that the easiest shot to take a turkey is a come-back shhot when the turkeys back is turned.

Almost every Tom will have his back turned at some point when you are manning a vertical shooting lane through mainland foilage.

When the Tom stops and comes back, he will almost ALWAYS have a huge target showing for the hunter.

It's time we start using this a bit more.
It takes a special kind of brainwashed useful idiot to politically defend government fraud, waste, and abuse.

That all terrain wheel chair looks amazing! Those wheel tracks look like they could climb over most any real path obstruction.
