I don't know… I guess they are from mars. That's what my Seek app tells me they are anyway. We have them by the thousands attracted to the windows at night. Every morning for the last week or so I am having to blow the dead ones off the sidewalks. Individually they are a fairly innocuous little bug but they are an annoyance in these numbers. I never remember this happening before. Better than a nest of copperheads i guess but they are attracting toads who leave their giant poops. Anyone else having this issue? Anderson County btw.
