Its two wheel season finally! What is everyone riding this year and where?

2023 Street Glide and my girlfriend's Honda Rebel 500. Heading to a Men's Fellowship retreat this weekend and the Ozarks in a few weeks for another Fellowship retreat.

2022 Harley Pan American 1250 Special

A few years ago I was able to take a 10 week trip from Texas to Cali back to NC and then back to Texas. A unique opportunity and I enjoyed every moment of it.

I travel a lot and am gone a lot, so when I can ride, I ride. Doesn't matter the temperature or the weather.

And… for those in Texas - it is always riding weather!

I ride a $1300 200cc Chinese bike. Here it is surrounded by about $90k worth of BMWs and Ducatis in agas line in Bolivia. I've had it a little over one year and have about 5k miles on it mostly on dirt roads.

I picked up a '22 Ducati Multistrada V4S last year. Its an amazing bike, and a good complement to the 2004 Aprilia Tuono I've had for a few years. My wife is on a Triumph Scrambler 1200. She wants to get a sidecar rig next, and I'm hoping to add an older air-cooled Ducati, probably a Monster, in the next year or so.

Upgraded my 2020 Road Glide Limited to a 2026 in March. As much as I loved the 2020, the 2026 offers a lot of improved features....a joy to ride!

Have you ridden any of the BDR trails? I've only ridden dirt bikes growing up and after watching a few of the BDR videos I'm sold on a new bike to ride them.

I'm going to get the new BMW F 450 GS when it comes out in the U.S. Supposed to come out in August, but we'll see.

Buddy of mine is selling his FJR 1300. Awesome mile eating touring machine. Only reason he's selling is because I've talked him into the ADV world and he's infatuated with my Multistrada.

I've done parts of the Hill Country BDR X, and bits of the Utah one, as well as some other big bike friendly off-road. I'm planning to do more in the future.

We've done the sisters every spring. This year one guy got taken out by a deer. Another got hit by a deer but didn't go down. Tore up his bike, though. I think we're done with that area. We see more deer there in one weekend than multiple week long trips to AR.

We do Eureka Springs every fall. This year is the last week of October. Gonna leave out 10/23 and hit eastern Oklahoma on 10/24 and ride Talimena Byway, Indian Highway, Hwy 82 Hwy 2, and Hwy 259. The head to Eureka on 10/25, and back home on 10/30.

I hit a deer in NW AR a couple years ago. Didn't go down, somehow. Those *******s are everywhere.

I haven't yet. I've done a lot of gravel routes around the BCS area, and an extended weekend camp / off-road riding/training event called the TouraTexas Rally out in Burnett with Austin Moto Adventures. I'm actually signed up to do that again in late October this year, and it did include parts of the new Hill Country BDRX

I'm debating whether to try a full BDR on this bike or downsize to something like the Aprilia Toureg 660. The bike could do it, I'm just not sure I have the skill set and would want to deal with this bike if the conditions got gnarly.

The Tiger is absolutely awesome for crushing highway miles, and with a programmer taking it to around 165hp, it will keep up with most sport bikes in a group ride while still being very capable on gravel and light off-road. It handled the off-road training I've done with no problem but after going through a bunch of sand on it then on a ~350 lb dual sport it makes me wish for something lighter.

You should check out the Tuareg if you haven't. Really great bike.

I wish Yamaha would come out with a 900 Tenere with the CP3 triple. That might be the perfect ADV bike to me.

We rented some FS800 (I think) in Vietnam and toured the north. Definitely wanting to get an ADV sooner than later.

I have a place in Bandera. Yah, there are a lot of deer. I try to avoid early morning and evening rides because of that. I also try to avoid riding during the pre-rut//rut. To own my hypocrisy, my proposed ride is right smack dab in the middle of it all.

One of my H.O.G. friends got taken out by a deer near Pampa in early June. He was beat up; his wife suffered a broken wrist that required surgery, two broken ankles, and totaled his 2015 Ultra; wife had just recovered from car wreck 6 months ago. She's done with bikes...he's looking for a gently used Harley. We live on borrowed time....

I recently acquired a 1980s Honda Spree moped in a real estate transaction. Can't bring myself to throw it away, because 1980s Honda. Never been a moped guy but it could work for the neighborhood.
