I'm in Bolivia and last week we went to the big zoo in Santa Cruz. It was surprisingly good. They have big aviaries where macaws and toucans fly around. You can walk through them and the birds are tame enough to approach very closely.

They also have a big pond with an island in the middle that is occupied with a couple different types of monkeys that apparently don't swim. People throw them bananas that they buy from a vendor directly below the sign that says to not feed the monkeys.

Jaguars are a lot bigger than I thought. Much bigger than mountain lions. There are lots of interesting animals to see there. We'll probably go visit it again in the future.

I thought y'all would enjoy a few shots of the animals. If y'all like them, I can post more another time.

Danger kitty! I was shooting through a very tight fence, thus the faded look.

I used my OM Systems em1 mkIII with a 40-150MM lens. I've been really happy with it. Lightweight, compact and very weather resistant.

Nice, they make some great stuff. Specifically love how light they are too.

Again, great photos. Share some more if you got em please!

I'm glad y'all enjoy them. I like the compactness of the little OM systems camera. It doesn't draw too much attention and is more concealable when I'm attempting some street photography in the marketplaces around here. Those are really interesting, also.

This a mature deer. I forget the name right now. There's a couple different types.

This is an agouti, or hochi. I'm told they're really tasty. They're like little rabbit sized capybaras.

The local wild pig. Pretty tasty.
