Long John silvers tried to make it look like you were going into a restaurant on a pier and when you enter kinda resembled a pirate ship inside. I remember them bringing your meal to your table ala whataburger style and all kids getting paper pirate hats, swords etc.LB12Diamond said:

It was "Alfies" and I think where the Farmer's Market Deli was. Close to where Lamar and NIcki's is now. It was more like an English pub and used news paper to line the fish basket. It was my first experience with fish and malt vinegar and the reason I started going to LJS after they closed.

I love to get extra hushpuppies and batter crumbs. Dip in ketchup, then mash the puppy into the batter crumbs. Delicious.

Apparently the crab cakes are the things to get. 6 for $10 on Wednesdays!
Went last night, drive-thru was completely empty. So the hype has died down. Wish I'd known to try the crab cakes!

Definitely not. I WISH Madden's would bring back their Shiner Bock fish and chips with chipotle lime tartar sauce.
For crab cakes, the remoulade sauce is almost as important as the cake. Doubt they have that one.
They have a 2 for 1 meal deal on Mondays, if you order through the app. We used this Monday, thinking we'd pick it up through the drive thru. The lady on the speaker said "come inside". I get inside, and the manager gets onto her for making me come inside, when they could have just handed it to me through the window.... Manager apologized to me, it was awkward...
