Have you ever grown yellow bell peppers? We have a few on our plant but they are green. Do they eventually change color?

Yes. They will turn and it take a while at the beginning

I personallly think it has to do with heat and maturity of plant when they start turning faster than the dang 6 weeks they have already been on the plants

Now I dont know if you know this but your pepper plants if you can keep alive all summer perform their best in the fall

Hey Maddie a question: I've grown Lemon Boy for years, but a few days ago I picked a very odd looking tomato from one plant. It's not yellow but (sorry for the poor description and I can't post pics), a kind of mottled orange color…like orange and yellow blotches. I plan on saving seeds but any guesses as to what might have happened? New variety? Maybe one of the ancestors of the hybrid?

I dont know I only plant celebrity plus

This year I said i was gonna try Grand marshall and san marzanos on a row 18 grand 6 sans
And the hail storm came and took out over half

So now I dont know what is grandmarshall or celebrity because Inhad to replant celbrity in my grand marshall row

San marzano or easy to tell

The grand because supposedly they can handle the heat
The san M. Because they are suppose to be the best tomotoe but probably only if grown in Italy

Newbie tomato grower here. I bought mine at Farm Patch in early March (grape, Mr. Stripey, and Paul Roberson). They are all living their best lives. I had no clue they grew so tall (I'm 5'9" and they're taller than me). Red Christmas ornaments seem to be doing a good job of keeping the birds away. My heirlooms haven't started ripening but I've been harvesting grape tomatoes daily.

Do your Celebrity + get a lot of stretch marks/shallow cracks on the top? This is my first year to plant that variety and they all have it. Heavy producer so far. Flavor is exceptional.

Celebrity did well for me but my big surprise winner was Champion VNFT. Almost true beefsteak size, super productive, tough plants. Grew side by side with Celebrity and they def out performed them.

No, mine don't have the large cracks, mostly circular marks, probably from the rain 2 weeks ago. Other varieties didn't react that way.
I couldn't find Champion transplants this year. Prefer that large size and it is a good tomato.
I picked a few San Marzanos yesterday but they were a little mealy.

Mine are also. Maybe thats what san marzano are suppose to be I dontnknow if its a tomotoe to be eaten or made into paste/sauce and the mealy part does not matter

I was fortunate to get a sample of Maddiedou's produce and everything was delicious! We had a fantastic caprese salad a couple nights ago and sliced up some tomatoes for our burgers last night. My daughter whipped up a fresh salad with cucumbers that was delicious as well. The tomatoes are sooooo much better than anything you get in the store. I love this time of year!

Well this was a yellow bell pepper plant but these were pulling my plant down so I picked them. It looks like a little yellow is starting to form

Beefsteak and RedSnapper were both very tasty. Celebrity's are almost ripe.

I have said this before and I hate to say it again because its gonna bit me in the butt one day

I have never had problems with birds Inhave actually had redbirds build nest in my totmotoe plants before

Now Bottom end Rott. Worms. Raccoons yes but all are taken care of pretty quick

Do you pick yours when they have a slight color

Well I did have some pecks from birds about 5 and of course all big ones but I will forget and say I never had any issues with birds next year Ha
