Poor planning by the company... husband's company won't put up a roof with anything over 30% chance. And even then, they only do it in sections in case of a pop up shower.

I know it's not them. He does have a roof or two in that area of college station, but they aren't going up any time this week.

Pouring on campus now. Luckily I moved to the garage when I saw there was a slight chance of hail. Hopefully it will lighten up a little in the next 20-25 min when I go to leave.

I feel like last year was similar. Dry fall and early spring. Then a wet late spring and into early summer before the typical July through mid September heat dome.

We will see how much rain we get into June.

Good question. I was wondering about that on Friday but I don't know the answer. I live on the 40 side of things and not the creek side. Will ask some friends that live back there.

I do know that there is a culvert that is placed in a terrible spot on the north side of Castle Rock Parkway near the bridge that drains right towards a sidewalk that has already been reinforced with rock due to erosion. No telling what this runoff has done to that area.

This!!!!

We have been on our house for about 20 years and never had any water in it…………until now. Got some in a closet on Friday and then this evenings amount almost got back to the point of doing it again! And I just replaced the padding this morning. So bet your sweet a$& I will be manning my post tomorrow since it's showing high % of rain starting around 8am or 9am and going on pretty much the whole day

I'm in the same boat. Ground was still too wet to mow Sunday afternoon/evening, and now we get more rain.

The good thing is, after today forecast shows very low chance of rain all the way through Sunday.

It's on vacation.


Prepare for round (what round is it again?).... looks like the storm building west is continuing to build, and will hit here with another boat load of rain. Also- there's a tornado warning in Blanco county.

Edit- and tornado watch just popped up for Brazos county until 4 pm

I took my wife to work today so she wouldn't have to walk in the rain to her car parked outside, exposed to potential hail. Already lost one car to hail this year, not gonna eff with this crap.
