I am pretty sure the only way to think this is good for College Station is to not be familiar with the Bombers. I hope the best for them. Nothing is being built for just the Bombers. This is a "baseball for all" approach. All ages. The Bombers will lease the field for a month out of the year, and it will be shared among clubs, little league, public play and everyone.
I hope that makes sense.

The right way to look at this isn't that the Bombers are going to get 30 days of access to a ballfield the city has lying around. The city is spending a not-so-small fortune to build and maintain a facility for the Bombers the city will have access to 11 months out of the year.

If I recall correctly, it was a part of Phase 2 which citizens voted down. I wouldn't be surprised if that is why it wasn't fully designed.Bob Yancy said:
