How to get rid of extra cables and boxes from pole to house?

How long do you want to ignore this user?
I have a rental that has a bunch of, what looks to be, old cables going from the pole(s) to the unit. Some are sagging down to head/fence level. My guess is they are old phone and cable. Who can I call out to see about getting rid of them since I'm not sure exactly what is what? Do I just need to start with Verizon, Suddenlink, etc?

On a duplex there will be 2 drops to each side

One is optimum/suddenlink, other is frontier

You can call them but I don't know if they will come remove the drops because if the next tenants want that service then they will have to come run them again. But call and see what they say.

Have they always been ran that low to the ground ?

Are the current tenants not using optimum or frontier ?

My understanding is they don't have frontier over there yet. I had talked to a frontier guy probably 6-8 months ago and it wasn't over that way. Kind of surprising. Maybe things have changed since then, who knows. I would like to have the hookup in the units just in case a future would like to use it. Maybe I'll have to reach out again.

But yes, they have always been that low, for the most part. I think they have sagged more over the last year or two

Maybe you are thinking of frontier fiber? Frontier phone and dsl which is what that flatter overhead cable would provide has been around a long time and before that it was Verizon or GTE for landline and dsl service.
I have never see them that low so I would reach out to both companies and see if they can at least raise those service lines higher by taking the slack out of them.

Gotcha. Yes, I was thinking of fiber

Even that electrical triplex from the electric co looks to be lower than most standards but the angle and depth perception is a little difficult to tell. I've seen better organzied overhead drops than the arrangment in the picture in Juarez. (Well at least the moneyed parts of town.)
