So I had to tear down part of my brick fence and I put it on the curb in Bryan. Apparently they left me a note saying "we don't take that much brick".

Do I have any other options locally, other than somehow loading it up in my truck and taking it to the dump?

Just put 2-4 in a plastic bag and put in trash can every pickup and they will go away slowly but surely or if they are in good shape put on the classified board and someone will take them for a project. Mailbox - planter box etc.
I collect ticket stubs! looking for Aggie vs tu stubs - 1926 and below, 1935-1937, 1939-1944, 1946-1948, 1950, 1953, 1956-1957, 1959, 1960, 1963-1966, 1969-1970, 1973, 1974, 1980, 1984, 1990, 2004, 2008 also looking for vs Villanova 1949- all home and away 2012-2013- media or suite passes for bowl games in 2021, 2023 and 2024

Bryan and CS are very picky. They won't take concrete,bricks or shingles. When I rebuild fences they will not pick up the old post unless I remove the concrete from them first.
Your best bet is to take to the dump or find someone who has a construction dumpster to take them to.

If that brick matches your main house you might want to consider keeping some of it around if someone ever takes out your mailbox or if you get cracking on the exterior
