Has anyone used ground shuttle to the IAH airport? How was it?

just fine. clean and ontime. they actually take about 90 minutes not the 2 hr they schedule.
convenient for the SoCo folks. not so for the NoBry folks.

Do they still pick up people at their homes? That's why a 90 minute drive would take 2 hrs.
i don't think they do home pick up anymore. if they did they would pick you up prior to the scheduled departure time from their office. the only exception i know of is that they will pick up people in navasota at some gas station close to hwy6 and where they turn off.
they will do a home dropoff from IAH but only take the other passengers to like pebble creek or somewhere else south of their office. otherwise they stop at their office first and maybe take you home from there. its on their website.

Good to know. Last time I used them, we left on time but picked up people all over town making for a 2+ hour drive.

How long do you want to ignore this user?
I use them for international flights when the last thing I want to do after a 10+ hour flight is to drive another 2 hours home.
Do you guess on how long it will take you to clear customs? That's my concern. I know leaving CS what time I need to be there, but don't want to wait around for hours coming home because we're late, Global Entry is closed, or they have 2 agents working with 500 people waiting to get through.
I used them last summer coming home on a domestic trip so no Customs involved.
They were right on time.
I suggested to the driver that we take Sam Houston Tollway to 290 to 6 so we could stop at Buc-ee's. He said they didn't go that way anymore.
I warned him about the construction on 105. He said that was the route they take now.
We took the Aggie Expressway to 105 and then sat parked on 105 for a pretty decent amount of time. The rest of the van thought we could have used that time to go to Buc-ee's.
The driver was not great on that trip. He drove like a teenage girl that was given a sports car for her birthday and no good driving instruction. He had a LOT more trust in the braking ability of a fully loaded Sprinter van than I would based on how much he tailgated other vehicles.
His lane changes were sudden and jerky.
We got back to the Ground Shuttle facility without incident but it was not my best experience with them. They should have changed their route to account for the construction.

When we did our 50th anniversary trip last year, we did a charter through them to pick up us and our daughter' family. Flight was late out of Munich and then we sat on the tarmac at IAH for almost an hour. Finally got luggage and cleared customs and they were patiently waiting on us- almost two hours late.
Re: Ground Shuttle, I've used them 2-3 times in the last two years, you need to schedule them around your flight departure time.
Each time I used them, they were quick, clean and professional. They drop you off in front of your terminal and pick you up in the same place. I highly recommend them if you're a single passenger.

Edited. I just saw where you"chartered" them and didn't use their scheduled service.
Yeah, it just worked best for u, as we had six people with luggage- plus we didn't want to play the customs guessing game, potential late arrival, etc.
We have used them at least 6 times and it has been great. Even dropped me off at my house on the way back for a little more
I used it once, years ago. Was horrible. Very unsafe. Called and spoke to the owner about it and he really didn't care. Said he felt it would be a liability to install dash cameras. I refused to ride the shuttle back home once I returned.

Great, reliable service. Book early as they do fill up
I've ridden with them 3-4 times, and always had a good experience.

I've used them dozens of times. Never had this experience.

I used a couple of weeks ago. I was satisfied and they do drop you off at your home for $12.

Used to really like them, but the vehicles are starting to fall into disrepair... Need new shocks, seats broken, etc. Latest TSA shenanigans forced me to do scheduled Uber and it was glorious (albeit pricey).
The BCS Ground Shuttle is a community asset. Have used them multiple times a month on business trips for the last 7 years. During that time only once was there a problem and it was quickly resolved as they dispatched another van to Navasota to pick us up and continue on to the airport. They're always prompt and they have been updating their fleet. Their website works well and I've always been pleased with the customer service. When you consider the wear and tear on your car, and persistent parking and construction issues at the airport--it's a no brainer. The service is frequented by many business travelers, university students and leisure travelers. We are very fortunate to have this service in our community!

Didn't read all the comments but I have clients who use them, as does my mom sometimes including 3 weeks ago. About to reschedule a client' here in a few minutes.
They no longer do "home pickups", but they will do "dropoffs". They drop people off at the office first, and then take the others home. I think its an extra $12.
