Are you asking for wealth management or a lawyer to help create an estate plan? I thought the latter which is why I suggested the firm I did, but others all seem to think the former which is why I'm asking.

After re-reading, you may be correct. He did say "estate planning".

Middleton & Middleton - They are board-certified in Estate Planning and did a great job for my family.

If you have Farm Bureau Insurance, they have estate planners that will meet with you at no extra cost.

That is who we used for our will. Kids were grown and out of college so no real need for a trust at that time.

Years pass.....

Now one is married with a kid and the other is engaged. So we will soon setup some sort of trust.

Yes, you are correct. Estate Planning only. We are covered on the wealth management side. We moved down from Dallas 3 years ago would like to deal with someone local (face to face).

Do you strictly want someone local? If not, your wealth management firm should have some good contacts - eg people they're used to working with, etc. Also, they should have have the context to calibrate what level of sophistication is needed for your situation. Just a thought because we recently revisited our estate planning and this is how we connected with a lawyer but not a local one.

This is who was originally recommended to me, but they would not do it due the net worth being to high. They will only do accounts up to $5mm.
