Are there any restrictions on constantly flying over the same neighborhoods over and over.

I hope I did not offend anybody with this post. If I did, please come see me at my address in my profile so we can talk.

Looks like they are doing a pretty good job of flying over the least amount of neighborhoods they can. Mostly over the highway and business areas.

That was incredibly annoying earlier today. Woke my kid up from a nap.

Most certainly not avoiding anything when crossing over the same point that many times.

That "annoying" noise was the Sound of Freedom. The T-6 Texan II is the Air Force training aircraft that familiarizes new Air Force pilots in basic flying skills. Both planes were practicing to be the Flyover for the Bananas baseball game in Kyle Field today. I was outside all afternoon and watched them flying overhead often in formation. This was on par with what pilots often do preparing for each Aggie FB game flyover. Who doesn't enjoy watching a free air show by military pilots practicing their skills??

They weren't even loud. Let the planes fly.

Can't do it from the ground so this was our last option.

I believe that one of the T-6 pilots graduated from a local high school and Texas A&M/Corps of Cadets. What a thrill for them to be able to fly over their home town and a giant campus event!

Love the t-6's! But I sure wish those helicopters that fly west in the morning and east in the evening wouldn't always choose the path right over my house.

They fly mostly N-S. And leave around 7 and back 9-10. I bet he's talking about the Blackhawks and Apaches from Huntsville.

Some of y'all wouldn't last in an actual military town.

There are C-130 over SA all the time. Jets all the time over Corpus and Kingsville.

They use Easterwood because it has a low amount of civillian traffic and pilots can train there without interfering with major airports. Been that way for years. You'll be fine.

If you're talking about the helicopter that flies from Coulter Field across town to south of Wellborn and back on some mornings, those are hog hunters.

I live near Wellborn and on cool dry days you can actually hear the machine gun fire in the distance.

Living on Ocean Drive in Corpus was like seeing an airshow every few days. That and watching them while wade fishing in Oso bay ... sometimes I think I was a mock target

I think that they are Blackhawks, but I'm no expert. Cool birds though .
