I guess something doesn't have to be old to be historic - but it would seem that it would have required something famous to have happened there. I don't think Food Network shows featuring it reaches that threshold. It may be cool and all. And it may be an old train car - but I don't think that makes it historic anymore than it would Goode Co Seafood off Kirby.

Not sure about Margie's sign status, but Martin's BBQ is 100 (or 101) and they received their historical place sign. I didn't realize Margie's is that old!
