Anyone been to the store off Graham? I just heard about them today. The pics off Google look pretty good. This is right in my neck of the woods so Im really hoping this takes off

I popped in when I was getting brick samples the other day. I was intrigued by their offerings.

I bought some steaks and a brisket a while back. Brisket is still in the freezer. The steaks were very good.

Is this a "If you have to ask the price, do not go" situation?

Not in my experience. The great thing about 1874 and others like Field to Family, is that you are cutting out "Big Meat". The huge conglomerates that have participated in the outrageous increase in beef prices for the consumer. Plus, it cuts massive transportation costs out of the pricing.

It's the same guy that runs JBG plumbing. John is a champion of our community. I'd check it out if you haven't been.

Keep in mind that this is a new venture of his and he might run out while he is figuring out how much product to stock.

Any feedback on Field to Family? I've been thinking about getting some meat from them. Will definitely stop in at 1874 soon.

It's still Red River Brick - this is in for lease space that was next to it. Now JBG Plumbing and their affiliated pop-up meat/novelties shop.

Yes your cutting out big meat but most prices are still heb prices but a better product

If you want a better price you have to buy to cow and you end up with 10.00 a pound hamburger meat/roast and stew bones but 10.00 a pound new york/filets/sirloin

So gotta figure put is it worth it

For us it is but only because I try to support the individual cow/calf ranchers
