For this site in particular - there are already two big crypto miners there.

ERCOT pays them millions to throttle usage. There is new bill requiring new facilities over 75 MW to pay for power infrastructure. The old ones are grandfathered in and still get money to throttle usage - often making more money from ERCOT then mining crypto. Just One Example - From The Old Alcoa Plant
