Discussion on this morning's Infomaniacs, he's departing next week.I think I heard 16+ years?
WTAW was recognized with several awards during his tenure, for the detailed coverage of local events, city councils, school boards, county commish meetings in particular.

I have so much respect for Bill Oliver. A real professional, and he was great at getting to the important details of the story. I wish him and Scott the best in their retirements.

Unlike others in this market, Bill is a true journalist who takes his time, gets all relevant sides of the story, and presents unbiased coverage. A true dying breed.

He will be missed but I hope he enjoys his retirement/next adventure!

I love that guy. He went to some small Missouri regional college and played their fight song whenever they did something. Always cracked me up that he'd do that here in Aggieland.

He is going back to Missouri to his alma mater (Northwest Missouri State) to be the director of the student run radio station and teach.
