Well, now we have science that cities change weather (which we all knew already). I just wish they included BCS in the study.

I could've sworn I read an article 20-30 years ago saying that the heat retained in the concrete/brick/asphalt was a major driving force of how intense the storm was or wasn't.

Seems like this study backs up that recollection or works in tandem with it.
I collect ticket stubs! looking for Aggie vs tu stubs - 1926 and below, 1935-1937, 1939-1944, 1946-1948, 1950, 1953, 1956-1957, 1959, 1960, 1963-1966, 1969-1970, 1973, 1974, 1980, 1984, 1990, 2004, 2008 also looking for vs Villanova 1949- all home and away 2012-2013- media or suite passes for bowl games in 2021, 2023 and 2024

"Heat islands" Urban areas often experience the Urban Heat Island (UHI) effect, which captures heat from the sun and human activities. The increase in temperature can influence storm patterns.
