Looking for a group to buy a lot of trees for a project if anyone has any good recs - ideally they will plant them too.

I would give these guys a look. Only open to the public one day per week so you'd need to check on that. I don't think they plant but I am sure they could give you a few names that could do it for you.
I know that Moon nursey does plant but their prices are way beyond ridiculous.

Outdoors board has regular discussion threads on trees. Search there or just start a thread. Lots more traffic there
Assuming our definitions of "a lot" are similar, call Strata Landscapes. They can source and install. I've used them for a few small commercial projects and they've done well.

Hope Valley Tree-Farm Bastrop. After the last ice storm we shopped around before we found Hope Valley. Every tree was a specimen. The prices are fantastic. After we put in some trees, the mayor asked where we found them and she ended up buying 8-10. A few other neighbors ended up getting trees there also. We all felt they had the best trees and the best prices by far.
I second Hope Valley. They're great. Install prices aren't bad either....
Another vote for Hope Valley. We bought a 2yr old Lacey Oak in 2020 and it is thriving in our back yard. It was very reasonably priced (~$250 I think) and the people there were great to deal with and help us choose the right tree.
