I know there have been a lot of roofers on this site but I wanted to shout out my brother from another mother. Been friends for about 25 years and I wouldn't trust anyone more than him and his company. He installed my last roof!

Best part is he is Fighting Texas Aggie Class of 2008!!!

Tell him white boy sent you

I'm taking that, with your permission.

Roof Roaches. I haven't heard that before. I was talking with a past Ag customer today about how in San Antonio on the 28th, there are several areas that were covered with new roofers. Today, the same streets are ghost towns as they all left for Austin last night. The damage in Austin is widespread. Most of us will be working here for the remainder of the year. The roof roaches will move on when a new storm comes along.

Enjoy! Best way to describe some of them (not all).

I expect my neighborhood to have several this weekend (even though we were only on the fringe of the storm).

You are correct they will scatter to the next storm damaged area once it runs dry here.

Just curious - what parts of Austin got hit hard? We seem to have missed the hail out in eastern Round Rock.

Hey!

This is one you wanted to miss. It was devastating. Not just damaged roofs.

Hard to get the map all in frame but here is Austin and Leander.

But this is also why I pay referral bonuses. It's just far too much area to cover for one or even 100 people. The roof roaches, as they say, need volume. They may make promises they can't keep and then can't make appointments and truly service the customers they manage to get. It's a different mindset. I have never referred to a customer as a "lead" and I've never gone into a neighborhood "ready to bust down some doors". I'm not going to change the roofing industry and the sales guy hype model by myself but there are a lot that treat it like a professional job helping people get their property back together and that's something.
